Mas Juny is an absolute UNIQUE property, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, accommodating 12 guests, with a large 10mx5m pool, with sea views, and views of the Iberian Ruins of Platja de Castell, it is situated 10 minutes’ walk from two of the best beaches on the Costa Brava (la Fosca and Platja de Castell), as well as having the largest estate on the Costa Brava. The property features a large fully equipped kitchen, with a large lounge that extends to the exterior, with enough space for 20 people. It also has a large fireplace which can be used in the colder months, great for the whole family to snuggle on the couches facing it while being hypnotized by the flames. The dining room is a long formal dining area, with space for 12, and offers its guest an opportunity to dine outside under its covered terrace. There is a library area with WIFI (all the books are in Spanish). The downstairs area has a Master suite that is ideally suited for the eldest of the group, and another office area, that can be converted to a spare bedroom if necessary. The upstairs is where the majority of bedrooms can be found all having an en suite bathroom. They share a large upstairs terrace that has beautiful views of the surrounding area. Two of the rooms are ideal for families with a young child (3-7), as they each have a separate area with 1 individual bed, so you can keep an eye on them. The pool area has a large cave that was converted into a covered sitting area, and the garden is extensive enough to have the whole family play a football match. Overall this home is UNIQUE in every way, and I cannot recommend it more. This property is suited to large group or family that wants to live like the Spanish lived centuries ago, while experiencing the real luxuries of life through absolute privacy, pristine views, and grandiose spaces. The area: The Masia’s grounds cover 3000 m2, but are part of a larger estate covering over 80ha, where various ruins of other Masias can be found. The area is ideal for adventurers, hikers, runners, mountain bikers, and just your casual beach goers. Teenagers and young children will have a great time roaming through property and finding their own adventures. La Fosca beach in my personal opinion is one of the nicest beaches on the Costa Brava, being only 10 minutes walk from the Masia. There are a variety of small restaurants and a large Chill out Bar which has views of the beach, making it an easy walk to get home if you are a little tipsy… The beach too is very family orientated, and has a large ruin of an old farmhouse still perched on the cliffs. The bay is large, and makes for a good run in the morning, or a long swim. Beautiful coves can be found after a long swim or a short hike, where one can jump from a variety of leveled cliffs into the sea.
